Here’s our news and information for January.
Info & updates
· A big welcome back and a hello to all of our new families.
· A huge thank you for all of our wonderful presents, we hope you had a lovely Christmas and break.
· We had a very fun last day of term making reindeer food, decorations, gingerbread shapes, seeing Santa and our sing-a-long.
· Paddington Bear- when your child is given him, please return after a few days.
· Please encourage your children to put their own coat and shoes on J
· SNACK- Please make sure grapes are cut long ways, they are an extremely common choking hazard.
· If you go on holiday this year, please bring us a postcard back to put up on a little display.
· We have lots of the same snack pots, lunchboxes and coats, please make sure they are all labelled so we know who’s is who’s J
Age Concern Visit
Thank you for all your lovely donations to give to Age Concern at the Borrow Centre. The children loved walking there to say hello and give over their gifts.
Bird Watch
We will be joining in with bird watch this month to see who visits our garden, if you have any toilet roll tubes we would love to have them to make some binoculars. Any donation of bird seed is very much appreciated.
New Toilets
Thank you to Andy at Mitie who was allocated a day’s charity to work to fit a new bathroom for the children, new toilets, new floor and fresh paint!
Vacancy
We are looking for a level 3 practitioner to join our team 3 or 4 days a week. Please speak to Karen or Holly for full details and an application form.
Clothing and Shoes
Lots of spare clothes please, the children will be spending a lot of time outside during the day and may be cold, wet and muddy. Shoes that are easy for the children to get on and off with little or no help would be very much appreciated. Please no shoe laces and lots of spare socks!
Uniform
If you would like to purchase uniform please ask a member of staff we have plenty of stock at Pre-School, tops are £11 and jumpers are £12
