Thank you’ s!

To our families- for all your continuous support with donations over Christmas, for the children to be able to make festive treats and a gift as well as all of your hamper donations. As a charity run Pre-School we couldn’t provide what we do without your help, thank you always for your support.

To John the Lollipop man- for teaching us about crossing the road safely.

To PC Ellie and her crew- who visited us on Wednesday 15th November to talk to us about how the police keep us safe and let us go in a police car!

To Debbie from Barnardo’s- who visited us on Friday 1st December from Hampshire Healthy Hero’s teaching us about how to keep healthy, including our teeth! Here are her top tips:

• Brush twice a day for two minutes with adult supervision

• Go for regular check-ups as advised by the dentist

• Encourage healthy food & drink choices

• Children under 5 need 3 hours of physical activity per day

• Every move counts

Becky

Please give Becky a big hug and good luck as she moves on to her next adventure, she has worked at Pre-School for a long time and we are very sad to see her go, her last day will be Friday 15th December.

Raffle

Raffle tickets are on sale, there is lots to win!

This Christmas we will be organising a raffle to win a selection of hampers, tickets will be sold for £1 each at the Pre-School in the run up to Christmas. The winning tickets will be drawn by the children on the morning of Friday 15th December. The money raised from the tickets will be used to buy new resources for the children.

Gate (Infant School Entrance)

At lunch time the gate is unlocked to get into the school, please do not buzz unless the gate is locked as it is very distracting for the children having a story.

Clothing and Shoes

Pack lots of spare clothes please, the children will be spending a lot of time outside during the day and may be cold, wet and muddy.

Shoes that are easy for the children to get on and off with little or no help would be very much appreciated. Please no laces and lots of spare socks!

Please pack a warm coat every day, this weather is very unpredictable.
